1. Educational Purpose Disclaimer

The Somatic-Informed EMDR Webinar is a professional continuing education training designed for licensed mental health professionals.

This training is educational in nature only. Participation does not constitute psychotherapy, supervision, consultation, or clinical advisement. No therapist-client relationship is created by attending this webinar.

This course enhances clinical understanding of somatic-informed strategies within the EMDR framework. It is not a certification program and does not confer specialty designation unless explicitly stated in writing.

2. Eligibility, Prerequisites, Scope Limitation & Representation

This training is designed specifically for licensed mental health professionals who have completed a comprehensive EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training.

This webinar assumes prior EMDR foundational education and builds upon that training. It is not introductory and does not teach the full EMDR protocol.

Completion of this webinar does not qualify a participant to practice EMDR. This course does not replace a comprehensive EMDR Basic Training. Attendance does not grant permission, authorization, certification, or competency to offer EMDR therapy independently.

If an individual registers for this webinar without having completed a comprehensive EMDR Basic Training, they acknowledge and agree that:

Participants who have not completed EMDR Basic Training agree not to implement EMDR interventions or represent themselves as EMDR-trained based solely on participation in this webinar.

This training is somatic-informed and may reference principles drawn from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and related somatic frameworks. However, this webinar does not constitute formal training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy or any proprietary somatic modality.

Completion of this training does not authorize participants to:

Participants agree not to misrepresent their credentials, training status, or professional qualifications in marketing materials, websites, social media, or client communications.

Participants are solely responsible for practicing within their professional scope, training level, licensure requirements, and applicable ethical standards.

The host reserves the right to deny or revoke access to participants who misrepresent their training status.
